Chongqing Zhongxian bamboo products are popular in Malaysia

Chongqing, August 11th (Reporter Wang Xinyue) Recently, it was learned from the Propaganda Department of Chongqing Zhongxian County Party Committee that since the beginning of this year, a large number of Zhongxian bamboo products, mainly bamboo fiber environmentally friendly tableware, have been exported to Malaysia. The bamboo fiber environmentally friendly tableware exported from Zhongxian includes multiple products such as plates, knives and forks, chopsticks, spoons, water cups, etc. Currently, it has covered major cities in Malaysia such as Kuala Lumpur and Johor Bahru, and has successfully entered 23 local chain supermarkets, accounting for 15% of the local biodegradable tableware market share.
In recent years, Zhongxian has started to promote the high-quality development of the "bamboo replacing plastic" industry by cultivating bamboo forest resources, deep processing of bamboo, and product design and manufacturing. At present, more than 100000 acres of bamboo base have been developed in Zhongxian and surrounding areas. The county processes 300 million sets of bamboo fiber products annually, and more than 60% of the products are exported overseas, becoming one of the important production areas in the global bamboo fiber environmental protection products field.
